Commission approves purchase of three police cars

Ponca City Commissioners approved the purchase of three police cars Monday night for $73,731 from Bob Hurley Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram.
Police Chief Don Bohon said the price is less than the $105,000 budgeted this year for new police cars.
These are Dodge all-wheel drive vehicles, and they handle better than the department’s SUVs, Bohon said..
