Colorado Springs edges OKC Dodgers 9-8

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Rene Garcia hit a walk-off single with one out in the 10th inning, as the Colorado Springs Sky Sox defeated the Oklahoma City Dodgers 9-8 on Sunday.

Michael Reed scored the game-winning run after he reached base on a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt.

After Oklahoma City's Zach Walters hit an RBI single in the top of the ninth, Colorado Springs tied the game 8-8 in the bottom of the inning when Orlando Arcia hit a two-run single.

Reliever Damien Magnifico (6-6) picked up the win after he struck out three and walked one while allowing one hit over one scoreless inning. Jacob Rhame (1-7) allowed one run and got one out in the Pacific Coast League game.

Nate Orf homered and singled, scoring two runs in the win.

Several Dodgers chipped in at the plate, as five players recorded at least two hits. Corey Brown homered twice, driving in five runs and scoring a pair.

Despite the loss, Oklahoma City is 6-3 against Colorado Springs this season.
