Ponca City, OK ——-The students of the Cosmetology program at Pioneer Tech were thrilled to announce the resounding success of its recent Clips for a Cause event, made possible by the generous contributions and support from the community. Through the collaborative efforts of students and local barbers, the event raised an impressive $875, all of which was donated to the American Legion to help pay for Veterans groceries and bills.

The Clips for a Cause event saw enthusiastic participation from attendees who received haircuts and purchased raffle tickets, demonstrating a shared commitment to making a positive impact in the community. This collective effort enabled SkillsUSA students to further their mission of supporting organizations like the American Legion that serve those in need.

One highlights of the event was the announcement of Tanner Crawford as the winner of a brand-new charcoal grill, adding an extra layer of excitement and celebration.

The students of the Cosmetology program extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, donated, and volunteered their time to make the Clips for a Cause event a resounding success.
