Happy 4th of July Ponca City! I believe Ponca City has one of the best firework displays in Oklahoma. It is fun watching the fireworks go off over Lake Ponca. This will all happen Tuesday night. Enjoy!
If you have guests in town over the holiday make sure you check out all the fun things there are to do in and around Ponca City. We have great shopping, dining, tourist attractions and outdoor recreation. If you want to stay cool or don’t mind being out in the heat remember we have something for everyone.
I would suggest going to visitponcacity.com. Several of our tourist attractions are free. For example have you seen the Matzene Collection at the Ponca City Library? It is so unique and can’t be found anywhere else in the United States. What about the Conoco Museum? It is free and tells the story of oil in Oklahoma. Have you been out to the home site of the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch? It is really cool. Of course our merchants don’t charge to check out what they have to offer in their stores.
