This week Austin Unruh and I will be attending the Oklahoma Tourism Conference in Oklahoma City on Monday and Tuesday. This is a great opportunity for us to network with the Oklahoma Department of Tourism and other tourism entities across our great state. We will also learn from national tourism experts about the latest trends in tourism marketing. Ponca City is a leader in tourism attractions and events in Oklahoma. Outside of Oklahoma City and Tulsa you won’t find another city in Oklahoma with as many attractions and quality events as Ponca City. Tourism is an economic engine for Oklahoma and for Ponca City.
Our Chamber has one fundraiser every other year. This is the year for our fundraiser on Friday, August 18th at the Marland Mansion. If you are a Chamber Member we are seeking auction items at this time. Please be generous. We are the only Chamber in Oklahoma that goes an entire year without a fundraiser. Thank you so much for being generous.
This week our Ambassador Committee, Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Community Development Committee will all meet. Thank you volunteers for all you do for our Chamber.
