Chamber Chat

Ponca City Now - October 26, 2015 9:12 am

Can you imagine a family owned business in Ponca City for 70 years? We have several, and they are impressive.

This one is Quality Water Services! Kelly and Cheryl Johnson, along with their staff, are celebrating their 70 th anniversary this year. Quality Water Services will host the Chamber’s October Business after Hours Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. for Chamber Members. If you are a member of the Chamber please plan to attend this fun come-and-go event and help Quality Water Services celebrate 70 years of serving our region.

The Chamber Board of Directors will meet Tuesday. Bill Coleman with Team Radio Marketing Group is our 2015 chamber chair. He has done an amazing job. This year we have grown in membership and we have seen a lot of investment in Ponca City as evident with our Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies.

Our chamber programs and events such as our Leadership Program, Tourism Projects, our Business after Hours, Ponca Politics forums, Ponca City Day at the Capitol, the PIE Program, Chamber Buck Program, PRIDE Program, new teacher luncheon, Stuff the Bus, Cash Mob, our Chamber Lunch and Learns, just to name a few of our projects this year have all been successful.

Our Party at the Palace was the best one to date and we are about to kick off our Santa Buck Giveaway, the largest retail event in Oklahoma.

We could not do what we do without great leadership as with Bill Coleman and our great chamber volunteers. Thank you everyone for all you do for our Chamber. We are blessed!
