On Tuesday, our Chamber will have U.S. Senator James Lankford as our special guest for the Ponca Politics Forum. The forum will start at noon in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. Everyone is invited to attend this important forum. We are excited to have Senator Lankford visit Ponca City.
We have two Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies this week. Our first one is on Thursday at 11 a.m. for Zino’s Italian Ristorante. They have just had a major remodel. It is beautiful. Then on Friday at 10 a.m. we will have a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for a brand new Ponca City business, Red River Credit. They are located at 101 W. Grand Avenue. Please join us for both of these Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies.
The Education and Workforce Development Committee will meet Thursday at 4 p.m. in the renovated Woodlands Elementary School. We are excited to see the new look for Woodlands. During the meeting we will discuss our PIE Partner Kickoff meeting on Tuesday, September 8.
