The Chamber will have a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Monday at 2 p.m. for the Visiting Angels new office located at 205 W. Hartford, Suite 112. We will also have our next Cash Mob Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Sears. Please join us for both of these Chamber events.
The Education and Workforce Development Committee will meet Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Chamber Office. The goals and projects of the Education and Workforce Committee are:

To seek support of Chamber Businesses for the (PIE) Partners in Education Program.

To support educational programs such as elementary school mentoring.

To present the 8 th Grade Oklahoma Scholars Program to East Middle School and the PRIDE program to Ponca City High School students.

To provide information to the Chamber’s Ponca Politics Committee on education issues.

To host a new teacher luncheon.

To host a support staff appreciation reception.

To hold a “Stuff the Bus” school supply collection event.

To conduct on-site visits of our local schools.

To prepare and distribute a summer children’s activity handout.
This is a very active chamber committee making a difference in our schools!
