Central Oklahoma hires Hankins as basketball coach

EDMOND, Okla. (AP) – Central Oklahoma has announced the hiring of Southern Illinois associate head coach Tom Hankins as its new head basketball coach.

Hankins will replace Terry Evans, who resigned last month. Hankins spent the past three seasons as associate head coach at SIU after 15 years as an assistant at Oral Roberts.
