Kay County communities showing good self-response rate to 2020 U.S. Census

So far, the results have been good for local Kay County communities when it comes to responding the the 2020 U.S. Census. Ponca City's self-response rate is at 52.5%, Blackwell at 49.1%, Tonkawa at 49% and Newkirk at 46.8%. The state of Oklahoma's response rate is 45.3%. As of 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, the Oklahoma State Department of Health documented only 29 COVID-19 cases statewide, bringing Oklahoma's overall total to 2,599.
