Cash helps to shut out Iowa, Oklahoma City wins 6-0

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Ralston Cash and three other pitchers combined for a shutout as the Oklahoma City Dodgers beat the Iowa Cubs 6-0 on Tuesday.

Cash (2-0) picked up the win after he struck out two and walked two over 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Jordan Pries (4-3) went four innings, allowing five runs and eight hits in the Pacific Coast League game. He also struck out three and walked two.

In the top of the first, Oklahoma City took the lead on a solo home run by Yasiel Puig. The Dodgers then added four runs in the second and a run in the sixth. In the second, Brock Stewart drove in three runs and Puig drove in one, while Brandon Hicks scored on an error in the sixth.

Puig homered and singled, driving in two runs in the win.
