Car wrecks in the area this weekend

Car wrecks happened in Payne and Noble County yesterday.

There was a deadly wreck in Noble County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Brittney Perkins, 23 of Okmulgee was heading West on US-64 when she failed to negotiate a curve.

She went off the road, into a creek.

OHP said she wasn’t wearing her seatbelt.

Perkins was annouced dead at the scene.

According to OHP A Ponca City man was heading East on State Highway 33 in Payne County.

He crossed the center line striking another vehicle heading West.

A third vehicle heading West was hit by debris.

OHP said The Ponca City man was flown to OU Medical Center where he was admitted in stable condition for a leg injury.

There were no other injuries.
