Car Crashes Into Building, Catches Fire In Sperry

SPERRY, Oklahoma – 

A building in Sperry caught on fire and collapsed after a car crashed into it overnight.

Witnesses told fire crews that the driver of the vehicle was speeding down a street before it ran into the building.

The car caught fire which then caused the entire building to go up in flames before it collapsed.

Firefighters were able to get the car and the driver out of the building before fighting the fire. The driver was taken to the hospital.

Crews on scene said a telephone pole collapsed near the building, as well.
