Boy dies in accident

LAWTON, Okla. (AP) – Authorities say an 11-year-old boy is dead and four other people are injured after their vehicle struck a guardrail and overturned.

Lawton police say the pickup truck was traveling north on Interstate 44 yesterday morning when the vehicle hit an icy spot on a bridge.

The child was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
