Each Tuesday during the second half of the college football season, the eyes of all fans go to the CFB Playoff committee and where they set teams.

Early on in the process, many think the committee sets a precedent for the rest of the season and if that is the case, the Oklahoma Sooners and Baylor Bears should be fairly concerned with what has transpired during the first two editions of the rankings.

Tuesday night, the committee ranked OU at No. 10 and BU at No. 13. For both teams, that marks a drop of one spot and a trend that both will not want to see continue.

For the second-straight week, the rankings included two SEC teams. This week Georgia replaced Alabama as the second team from that conference to be represented.

Clemson also slid into the top-4 after the upset performance from Minnesota over Penn State this weekend.

LSU’s win over Alabama was enough for the committee to move them to the top position, leapfrogging Ohio State to the top of the poll.

Big 12 teams elsewhere in the top-25 include Texas at No. 19, Oklahoma State at No. 22 and Kansas State sliding down to No. 24.
