Basketball Senior Night is Tuesday

Ponca City Ladycats and Wildcats will be celebrating their Senior night Tuesday by hosting Enid Plainsmen.

Eight Senior Basketball players will be celebrated along with Senior Cheerleaders and Po-HiSteppers.

Coach Jody Fincher is “really proud of this group of ladies. They have continued to work hard and have improved so much.

This group of Seniors has represented Ponca City well for the last four years. They have helped build Ponca City Lady Cat basketball into a respected program throughout the state. You couldn’t ask much more from them. I am looking forward to seeing them close our their careers strong.” The Senior Ladycats are Baylee Fincher, Kabria Christian, Karis Branstetter, KaSandra Lyons and Ryley Beard.

Wildcats Coach Ivan McFarlin stated,  “The season has been everything that I expected. We have played really tough against some of the best in Oklahoma. Even though it was a tough night Friday, we are very motivated for the next game against Enid!! I’m very excited for my seniors, Luke Seals, Ben Suprobo, and Cole Mason!! They have been committed to the program and it’s great that we’re honored by everyone.

We had injuries but we dont have excuses!! They are not acceptable.”

Senior Po-HiSteppers and Cheerleaders will be celebrated prior to the Varsity Girls game. Basketball Seniors will be between the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys games.
