ATTUCKS PARK IMPROVEMENTS BEGIN AUGUST 28, 2023

The City of Ponca City received a Community Development Block Grant for major improvements to Attucks Park, located at 1313 East Dixie Drive.
In April of 2023, a new poured-in-place surfacing was installed at the park playground allowing for safer play for users.
Beginning August 28, 2023, further work at the park will commence with the demolition and reconstruction of the outdoor basketball court, the installation of a new restroom, and the installation of a new concrete sidewalk connecting the splashpad, restroom and basketball court.
For public safety, the playground and splashpad will be closed from August 28, 2023 until construction is completed.
