Astronomy club to meet second Thursday of each month at RecPlex

The meetings for Ponca City Astronomy have been set for 7 p.m. the second Thursday of every month from now on, at the Ponca City RecPlex Art Studio.
Group founder Richard Jones said the Sidewalk Astronomy events are still scheduled by the Lunar Month and are to be held on the Friday nearest the First Quarter Moon, as this is the best time for viewing the Moon. The Friday events will be held at the Ponca City RecPlex and the time will vary depending on the time of sunset, Jones said.
