Arrott to speak to Kay County Democrats

The Kay County Democratic Party will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 16, in the west side of the Seminar Room at Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City.

The guest speaker for the meeting is Ponca City Public School Superintendent Shelley Arrott.

Arrott will speak on public school funding, as well as children in poverty and the barriers they face in academics. In addition, she will discuss the changes in the College and Career Readiness Assessments, and as her vision for Ponca City Public Schools.

The public is invited to attend this meeting.
