Arkansas City man arrested Friday night for aggravated battery

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan.  The Arkansas City Police Department arrested an Arkansas City man late Friday night in connection with an incident in which he allegedly bit a man’s ear.

Satak Lincoln, 33, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery-domestic violence, which is a felony, and disorderly conduct, which is a misdemeanor.

Lincoln was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $10,500 bond through Cowley County District Court in Arkansas City. He remained in custody at the time of this release.

Officers were dispatched about 11:26 p.m. Friday for a report of a disturbance at 504 N. First St.

They found the victim, a 26-year-old Arkansas City male, bleeding from a laceration on his left ear.

Police learned the victim was outside his residence when he allegedly was attacked by Lincoln.

During the ensuing altercation, Lincoln allegedly bit the victim’s ear, causing a laceration that required medical attention.

The victim was transported to South Central Kansas Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.

A defendant’s guilt or innocence is to be determined by a court of law.
