Annual Winter Formal

The Pepperette’s annual eighth and ninth grade dance is this Saturday.

The Pepperette’s are a social organization which does volunteer work.

Anitarei Dutton, a Pepperette’s mom said the proceeds from the dance will help local organizations.

“They have a couple different organizations this year that they use," Dutton said. "Domestic violence, Peach Tree Landing and hospice.”

It cost $15 for individuals and $25 for couples.

This years theme is "Heaven on Earth."

If you aren’t in eight or ninth grade you can not attend.

Dutton said the event is a formal.

“It is all formal there is no things allowed, but ninth grade girls have the privilege of wearing full length formal, eighth graders can only wear short formal,” Dutton said.

The eighth grade Pepperette’s are allowed to participate in the promenade with their dates.

The promenade will be at 7:30 and the doors open at the Hutchins Memorial Auditorium at 7.
