Annual Cherokee Strip BBQ & Chili Cookoff is This Weekend in Ponca City

The Annual Cherokee Strip BBQ & Chili Cookoff is September 15 and 16 at beautiful Lake Ponca. The event starts at 4:00 pm on Friday with local band M-Pyre performing from 6:30 till 8:00.
There will be food trucks and beer sales available.
On Saturday the vendors will be set up at 10:00 am. M-Pyre will perform from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Concessions and Beer available.
Tasting starts at 12:30 and ends at 2:30 or when food runs out.
Tasting kit tickets are $7.00 in advance and can be purchased at the local banks, Cherokee Strip Credit union, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Ponca City Chamber of Commerce or from any Professionals Today member. You can also purchase advance tickets from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. in front of the Pioneer Woman Museum on Saturday September 16th. Tasting kit tickets are $9.00 at the event.
All proceeds benefit Hospice of North Central Oklahoma.
