Professional baseball players host skills camp in January

Shidler high school’s athletic department is hosting a baseball skills camp.

The camp isn’t until Jan. 4, but you can register now.

Registration forms can be found at the Shilder public school’s website or by contacting Alan at 580-491-2349.

Forms can be sent to the school or turned into T-Rowe Pipe at 900 E. Oakland Ave, just south of Ponca City.

Boys and girls kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible.

The camp is $25.

Professional baseball players Austin Kirk of the Chicago Cubs organization and David Chester of the Boston Red Sox organization will be coaching.

Kirk will work with pitchers, while Chester works with batters.
