Ponca City Schools Hosting Regional & State Tennis & Golf Tournaments

The Ponca City Public School district will be very busy this spring hosting several regional and state tournaments. Ponca City School Athletic Director, Chris Walker said, “I would like to thank our community and local businesses for helping us host these tournaments.”

6A East Regional Tennis Tournament (boys & girls)
Wally Smith Tennis Courts
May 5 – 8:00 a.m. (girls)
May 12 – 8:00 a.m. (boys)

6A Girls State Golf Tournament
Ponca City Country Club
There will be 72 players representing 24 schools in the state
May 6, 7, & 8

May 6 – 12:30 p.m. Practice round of golf starting at 12:30 followed by a rules/dinner at 7:00 p.m. During the rules meeting/dinner, Michaela Cavener Eierinzo will be honored for her accomplishments. She was a state runner-up as a freshman and a 3 time State champion. She played at the college level at Tulsa where she graduated.

May 7 – 9:00 a.m. This will be the first day of the tournament.

May 8 – 8:00 a.m. This will be the final day of the tournament.
