Po-Hi band invites community members to play at Homecoming game

The Ponca City High School Band would like to invite all community members to be a part of the annual Ponca City Community/Alumni Band. The group will play at the homecoming football game on Friday. In preparation for the game, they will rehearse in the high school band room on Thursday at 7:00 PM. The community/alumni band has grown in the last two years, and the directors would like to see that growth continue. The community/alumni band is a tremendous opportunity for the high school band students to see adults playing their instruments after their high school years are complete. So, get those instruments out of the closet, dust them off and put the dates on your calendar. The school is able to provide many instruments.
