Orchestra does well at contest

Congratulations to our two Po-Hi orchestras! They attended OSSAA State String Orchestra Contest at Edmond Santa Fe High School and represented Ponca City well. The younger String Chamber Strings Orchestra had a great day earning straight “2” or Excellent marks. Our top group, the Symphony Strings Orchestra earned all straight Superior (1) ratings from all judges. This group also had top marks in all the captions. The judges said their performance was one of the top performances of the two-day contest. Congratulations also goes to Orchestra Director Dan Larson and his assistants Paula Cochran and Katie Rolf.
