Change to school calendar

The Ponca City School Board of Education has approved a change in the school caldendar.

The change allows parents, teachers, community members and anyone else who is concerned about the critical need for funding for schools to particpate in the education rally.

The education rally is Mar. 31 at the state capitol.

The current school calendar listed May 12 as a snow make-up day.

The board changed that day to a regular school day and changed Mar. 31 to a snow make-up day.

There will be no school March 31 and there will be school May 12.
