LAS VEGAS (AP) – Kristine Anigwe scored 32 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds and California held off No. 20 Oklahoma 82-74 on Tuesday night in the Puerto Rico Shootout.

The tournament was moved to Las Vegas because of concerns over the Zika virus in Puerto Rico.

The Bears (11-0) held the Sooners (8-3) to seven points in the second quarter and led 38-20 at the half, both season lows for Oklahoma. Cal stretched the lead to 64-41 after three quarters before Oklahoma stormed back.

A technical foul on Cal’s Courtney Range with 2:57 to play allowed Maddie Manning to sink four free throws cut the deficit to 71-68. Anigwe answered with a 3-point play and the Bears pulled away at the free-throw line plus a key putback by Penina Davidson with 57 seconds left. Oklahoma scored a season-high 33 points in the fourth quarter.

Anigwe made 16 of 22 free throws and the Bears finished 28 of 40 from the line, which offset 33 turnovers.

Gabbi Ortiz scored 17 points for the Sooners, who had a season-high 28 turnovers. Manning added 16 points and Peyton Little had 15.
