Angel Tree application slots filled

Team Radio Marketing Group - November 1, 2017 4:19 pm

The volunteer crew which has stepped up to provide this year’s Angel Tree program reports that all application slots are filled.
“We do not have  the manpower to continue to answer the phone,” Debbie Ross, coordinator of the program, said.
“We are busy completing the applications we have received. We hope to be able  to complete this and possibly have a few more spaces available to serve more families.”
She said families should send a text with their name and phone number to (580) 304-3743. If there are additional openings, Ross said volunteers will work from those names.
The volunteers are coordinating the program this year because of the closing of the local Salvation Army officer earlier this fall. Without their efforts,  the Angel Tree program would have ceased.
“The demand is overwhelming,” Ross said.
