American Airlines to deliver MD-80 plane to Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – American Airlines is to deliver an MD-80 airplane that it is donating to Oklahoma State University.

The aircraft with a logo of OSU mascot Pistol Pete is to arrive about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Stillwater Regional Airport after being brought to Stillwater from Tulsa.

The airplane is to be use to provide hands-on learning for OSU’s Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering students and to serve as a learning lab for kindergarten through 12th grade students.
