Alliance Health Ponca City recently donated a pallet of water and hand sanitizer to the Ponca City Public School District. Bret Smith, Executive Director of Operations for the District, explains, “Once again, our community has come together for our students and staff! Our Regional Hospital, Alliance Health Oklahoma, came to our aid with water and hand sanitizer. Alliance Health Oklahoma CEO, Christopher Mendoza, said he was so happy they could give back to the schools.”

Smith continues, “During the beginning of the Pandemic, our Medical Center was in dire need of hand sanitizer and wipes. Our teaching staff donated what they had to help them. Now the schools have a need and Alliance Health Medical Center came to our aid. The pallet of water will be very helpful in getting us to the end of the school year. Thirty-five cases of this pallet are already earmarked for EMS.”

“We are so thankful for our community partners. Not knowing how this pandemic would play out was the big question. Our students have needs, our community responds, and we are so thankful.”
