All Fired Up set for Saturday at Osage Casino

"All Fired Up," an annual benefit steak dinner and auction benefitting the Ponca City Fire and Life Safety Council and the Ponca City Fire Foundation, is Saturday, Aug. 6, at Osage Casino.

Cost is a $25 donation and tickets are available at the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce, Rainmaker Sprinkler or call 761-5862.

Grilling begins at 6 p.m., with dinner being served from 7 to 8 p.m.

Those attending can vote for their favorite team of grilling firefighters. Proceeds from the event go toward the construction of a new fire training center.

Entertainment will include live music and a silent and live auction.

Among the items up for auction are a guided doe hunt on the Big Fork Ranch, donated by Evans and Associates; a weekend retreat on NOC Cove at Kaw Lake, donated by NOC and Head Country; a round of golf for four with carts, shirts, caps and golf balls, donated by Wentz Golf Course; and steak dinner and cocktails at Evans Ranch, donated by Evans and Associates.

Bids will also be taken for a dinner for two at TS Fork in Tonkawa; a barbecue grill and utensils donated by Northern Safety and Industrial; donations from area liquor stores; and a choice of a trip.

Other auction items include a photography session; a Pandora bracelet from McGee Jeweler; and a set of tires and installation from Boomer Tire donated by Team Radio.

Gold sponsors include Osage Casino; Ponca City Firefighters Local 2479; and Phillips 66.
