Afton man arrested on child pornography complaints

A 59-year-old Afton man has been arrested on multiple counts of possession of child pornography after state agents follow a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

That tip came to OSBI March 24, 2015, indicating that a computer in Afton had downloaded images of pre-pubescent boys with their genitals exposed or performing sexual acts with adult men or other young boys.

Agents obtained a court order for the IP address and found the location to be 56701 E. 310 Road, Unit 702, Afton. The subscriber was identified as Stan Pelley.

Agents and Delaware County sheriff deputies served a search warrant at Pelley’s address May 21 and discovered numerous computer-related items. A preview of a laptop computer revealed several images containing child pornography.

An attorney general’s investigator assigned to the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force interviewed Pelley, who admitted to downloading and storing child pornography.

Pelley was arrested at the scene and booked into the Delaware County jail.
