COPAN, Okla. (AP) – A single-vehicle crash in northern Oklahoma has taken the lives of three people, including two children.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. Friday on US 75 about two miles north of Copan in Washington County. Troopers say a sport utility vehicle was traveling southbound on US 75 when it veered into the center median, struck the guardrail and then rolled over.

Killed were 27-year-old Brittiany L. Dilley of Independence, Kansas, and two children whose identities were not immediately known. The patrol says the woman and one of the children were ejected and all were pronounced dead at the scene. A 42-year-old man survived the crash and was hospitalized Saturday in stable condition.

The patrol says none of the vehicle’s occupants was wearing a seat belt.
