‘A Cowgirl’s Song’ Debuts On Netflix, Film Shot In Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. – 

A new movie shot in Oklahoma was just released and is receiving some fanfare.

‘A Cowgirl’s Song’ debuted on Netflix last weekend and Forbes says it’s one of the best new movies just released. The movie was filmed entirely here in Oklahoma, and one of Oklahoma’s Own was a part of it.

“It’s just a real feel-good story about an up-and-coming country music star and I play her younger sister who is a barrel racer. It’s also a musical so the soundtrack is amazing,” said OKC ventriloquist Darcy Lynn who is in the new movie.

The new musical is just one more in a growing list of projects filmed right here in Oklahoma.
