OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Funeral services and a candlelight vigil have been scheduled for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Mark Costello, who was stabbed to death in a weekend attack at an Oklahoma City restaurant.

A candlelight vigil will be held on the south steps of the state Capitol at 7 p.m. Thursday.

A rosary for Costello will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Monica Catholic Church in Edmond, and a funeral mass will be held at the same location at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The 59-year-old Republican died Sunday night after police said Costello’s son, 26-year-old Christian Costello, pulled out a knife and began stabbing him after the two met at a Braum’s restaurant on the city’s northwest side.

Christian Costello is being held without bond on a first-degree murder complaint.
