Owasso baby dies

OWASSO, Okla. (AP) – Police in Owasso say they’re awaiting a report from the state medical examiner’s office on the death of an 11-monrth-old girl.

Deputy Police Chief Jason Woodruff told the Claremore Daily Progress (http://bit.ly/1SrmaUg ) that the infant died Sunday after an ambulance was called Saturday by a man who said the child was having difficulty breathing.

Woodruff says the child was taken to a hospital where doctors reported finding bleeding in the baby’s brain.

No names have been released and police say there have been no arrests or charges in the case.
