OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Governor Mary Fallin has vetoed legislation that would have prohibited groups from banning guns at events held at parks, recreational areas and fairgrounds.

The Oklahoma City Chamber says the proposal could threaten dozens of events in the city.

A proposed gun ban at a music festival in Norman is currently the subject of a lawsuit in Cleveland County.
