Authorities investigating two deaths at Bristow motel

BRISTOW, Okla. (AP) – Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead in a Bristow motel room.

The Bristow police chief says officers found the bodies of 19-year-old Jake Allen Wright and 31-year-old Ruth Ann Rex in a room at the Carolyn Inn on Sunday.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting Bristow police in the investigation. Authorities are treating the deaths as homicides.

The state Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of the deaths.

Anyone with information is asked to call authorities.
