Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

Ponca City Police stopped a vehicle at Fourth Street and Fresno Avenue at 1:46 a.m. Sunday on a traffic stop and then arrested four people who were in the vehicle.

Kirt Lyon Jr., 19, was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of paraphernalia; drunkenness; contributing to the delinquency of two minors; allowing an unlicensed driver to drive and conspiracy to commit a drug offense.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; conspiracy to commit a drug offense; possession of paraphernalia and a curfew violation.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; conspiracy to commit a drug offense; possession of paraphernalia and curfew violation.

Haskell B. Heady, 22, was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of a controlled dangerous substance; possession of paraphernalia; false personation; driving under the influence; contributing to the delinquency of two minors; defective equipment; no driver’s license; use of a minor for transaction or sale of drugs. He also was arrested on Kay County Sherrif’s department warrants on an application to accellerate a deferred judgment for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and failure to pay fines for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
