Tulsa Police Officers responded to a McDonald’s on Friday night where employees were being assaulted and suspects were vandalizing the restaurant.

Investigators said the McDonald’s near 4700 S. Memorial is where this took place Friday night around 7:50 P.M.

When officers arrived on the scene, they detained five people as they attempted to run from the store.

Through an investigation, it was determined that the suspects ordered through the drive-thru, were unhappy with the service, and threw a drink at the employee working the window, to which the worker returned the drink to them.

Investigators said that after this, the five suspects ran into the kitchen area of the store, and assaulted employees by hitting, kicking, and pulling their hair.

The suspects threw food on the floor and knocked over equipment while one person recorded the incident on their phone.

Cameras inside the store also recorded the altercation.

Officers arrested four of the five suspects who were in the kitchen.

The fifth person who recorded the incident cooperated by turning over her video and was released.

Two of the suspects were arrested for assault, battery, and resisting officers.

Two juveniles were also arrested on the same charges.

The employees who were assaulted suffered scrapes and bruises, but their injuries were not serious.
