3 Oklahoma Detention Center Inmates Hospitalized After Suspected Fentanyl Overdose

According to officials, three inmates in the same pod at the Oklahoma County Detention Center were taken to the hospital to be checked after overdosing Thursday.

It is unknown at the time what exactly the inmates overdosed, but it is suspected to have been fentanyl.

The detention center’s staff administered Narcan and gave one inmate CPR.

Officials said all inmates were alert and talking as they were taken to the hospital.

They are expected to be checked back into the jail.
