Two men are caught on camera pilfering through a medical marijuana dispensary in Logan County.

Despite their determination to get inside investigators said they walked away empty-handed.

Wednesday, November 15 at 1:30 a.m., after shimmying through a tiny window, video surveillance footage captured a man in a hooded sweatshirt enter the Fire Ranch Farmacy Dispensary. “We believe people came through a window, we found broken glass,” said Logan County Sheriff Damon Devereaux.

Once inside, the suspect is seen unlocking the business’s front door for his accomplice to enter.

And despite their attempts to conceal their identities, high-tech infrared cameras captured crisp photos of both men. “We’ve got big chain corporations that don’t have as good of cameras as our dispensaries and grows, so that tells you how valuable that product is,” said Devereaux.

And while investigators said there were items of value inside after searching the business for three short minutes, the suspects slipped out the front door–no richer than when they had entered. “Doesn’t look like anything was taken. kind of a weird scenario,” said Devereaux.

Shortly thereafter—a Logan County deputy took notice of the dispensary. “One of our deputies was driving along the road, found a light on in one of our dispensaries that’s not typically on and a door that was open,” said Devereaux.

And while nothing was taken –in August the sheriff’s office said thieves made off with yellow plant tracking tags worth tens of thousands of dollars. Investigators are unsure if the same burglary suspects were involved. “I have no doubt these guys out there making the rounds, just like in the old days there were liquor store hold ups, this is the new liquor store deal,” said Devereaux.
