Pioneer Tech’s Business Team Is Growing

Jenn Miller and Heather Smith have joined the Business and Industry Services (BIS) team at Pioneer Technology Center (PTC).

Miller is a native of Marland, OK and a graduate of Northern Oklahoma College as well as the University of Central Oklahoma.  She was an Account Executive for Assured Home Health for the past two years, and prior to that was the Procurement Specialist for K&C Manufacturing. Miller has over 20 years of experience in customer service.

“I have a passion for helping my community and derive joy from connecting people to others, to resources, and to fostering growth that inspires people in achieving their goals,” remarked Miller.

Miller accepted the position as Leadership Development Coordinator with the BIS team in July. She is the mother of three children and engaged to Troy Pankratz. Her passion is to run half marathons and has a goal to race one in all 50 states.

Heather Smith was born in California, but has called Oklahoma her home for over 40 years. She attended high school in Marlow, OK, graduated from the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha, and received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum with emphasis on Educational Technology from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Prior to accepting the new position of Program Development Coordinator, Smith taught for the Ponca City School system for over 26 years.  “Education is definitely my strength field with a bit of tech spice,” remarked Smith.

In her spare time, she attends and volunteers at Ponca City Assembly where her husband Richard Smith is the Associate/Media/Special Events Pastor. Smith is the mother of two adult daughters and spends time volunteering at the Concert Hall running media.

Pioneer Technology Center’s network of experts in Business & Industry Services provides a full range of educational and training programs to meet area business needs.

Jenn’s manufacturing expertise is so helpful, and Heather is a natural in developing curriculum. These ladies will strengthen our already dynamic team in a positive way.”
