Oklahoma House supports cannibidol study

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The Oklahoma House has overwhelmingly approved legislation authorizing a statewide study into clinical trials on certain patients with severe forms of epilepsy using an oil derived from the marijuana plant.

House members voted 98-2 for the measure yesterday.

Representative Jon Echols says the bill authorizes an investigation into the use of cannabidiol in children with epilepsy.
