Oklahoma House to consider immunity bill

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The Oklahoma House will consider a measure giving ministers immunity from civil lawsuits for refusing to officiate at same-sex weddings.

The bill by Broken Arrow Republican Rep. David Brumbaugh passed the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday with a 7-2 vote. It now heads to the full House for consideration.
