Woman shot at Wilbanks Apartments

Ponca City Police were called to the Wilbanks Apartments at Third Street and Cleveland Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after a shooting was reported.

Officers and detectives are currently on the scene conducting an investigation, spokeswoman Sherry Bowers said.

The female victim was transported by ambulance to Ponca City Medical Center with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries, Bowers said.

No other details were available, she said.
