Troops to deploy to southwest Asia

FORT SILL, Okla. (AP) – Officials at Fort Sill say about 40 soldiers are set to deploy for a mission in southwest Asia.

A deployment ceremony will be held Friday afternoon in the Rinehart Fitness Center for the soldiers from A Battery, 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery.

The base says the soldiers will be providing support for combat forces in southwest Asia.
