PCPS- Wildcat of the week

The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the week #9 for the 2021-2022 school year was presented to Po-Hi Senior Autumn Leist.

Superintendent Shelley Arrott said, “Autumn is that student who is a perfect example of what it means to be the epitome of a Wildcat and a classy young lady! She makes it a priority to focus on doing her best in the classroom, plus she is super involved in school and community activities. She is a member of the National Champion Po-Hi Steppers, the Wildcat Tennis Team, Wildcat FFA, NHS, and is the Po-Hi Student Council President. In addition to her school activities, she is highly involved with her youth group at St. Luke’s.  Some may say she has too many irons in the fire, but her Ag teacher, Mr. Frazier aka “Frazier” says, for those of us honored to work with Autumn on a daily basis, know that she balances all those irons with greatness, no matter how hot that fire gets.  Her stepper coach, Coach Smith, says she is an amazing example of the type of young lady she wants representing the Po-Hi Steppers. She says Autumn’s expression of kindness and compassion is so authentic and genuine, which naturally makes her a role model for the squad.  Autumn has proven to be highly disciplined, detail oriented, and passionate about her many activities and studies and has led her to success.”

“Autumn, I know you immerse yourself in being involved with your school, church, and community, but I see that you “think outside the box” to encourage your fellow Wildcats to be involved as well!  You make everyone feel they matter to you, which naturally draws people to want to be around you. I admire your compassionate, caring, and selfless personality; you are always eager to support others or a great cause. I know you plan on going to college and becoming a business owner, and you would like to someday own and operate your own flower shop. You will be a wonderful entrepreneur; you will be highly successful because I know your customer service will be exemplary!  I am so thankful you are an inspiring role model for our little Wildcats to look up to!  Autumn you are truly a beautiful person both inside and out, and I admire that you focus on living your best life. Your school family, family, and community are so very proud of you!”
