Luetkenhaus Out on Bond, Wife Files for Divorce

A former Northern Oklahoma College professor who was arrested and charged with kidnapping, rape, sexual battery, and more after two former students accused him of sexually abusing them and other students for years, has been released on $100,000 bond, according to court records.
Anthony Luetkenhaus made his first court appearance last week in Newkirk where his defense attorney successfully argued to reduce his bond from $150,000 to $100,000.
Luetkenhaus was scheduled to reappear in court on the Status Docket on August 20th.
He was arrested by Tonkawa police after they were contacted by the president of the college, Dr. Cheryl Evans. Two students said that Luetkenhaus, at the time, the Theatre and Arts professor, had created a game in which he sexually assaulted them and instructed them to recruit other students to be assaulted.
As a part of the game, Luetkenhaus was the “master” and he was allowed to rape any one of his student “pets” at any given time.
One of the accusing students said that Luetkenhaus would document the encounters and would save photos and videos on his phone and computer. Eventually, she said, Luetkenhaus bragged about his collection of photos and videos and suggested there were photos and videos of students from Illinois and Missouri as well.
The student said that she was told by Luetkenhaus to recruit a 12-year-old girl that was the daughter of one of the staff members at Northern Oklahoma College. She said that Luetkenhaus has been involved in the game or had photos of over 40 students at Northern Oklahoma College.
The student told police during the interview that she feared for her life if Luetkenhaus found out she had talked to them.
Also according to court records, Luetkenhaus’ wife, Holly, filed for divorce in Payne County the same day he appeared in the Kay County Court. Luetkenhaus lives in Stillwater. His wife was also issued a temporary order prohibiting him from coming within 50 feet of her. Records indicate they have been married since 2007.
